Joe is fantastic! He went out of his way to help me and was pleasant the entire time. I felt the cost was reasonable and he accommodated my schedule. I will use Breen's Automotive again.
When you do work of this type the solid check engine light will come on. However you can clear it by taking the negative battery cable off for 10 mins. He assured me it would go off by itself after 2 or so full driving cycles. Pro. Small shop and a great guy that has been in the biz for 20 or so years. Support local!
2 cars fixed for a VERY fair price. 1994 Dodge Caravan needed some minor pulley work. Had the parts and Joe fixed it fast and for a great price.

Days later I had him look at our 1999 Honda CRV. Went into limp in mode with flashing check engine light. He diagnosed the problem as a spark plug wire that had burned through and was arcing into the engine directly instead of to the plug. New rotor, plugs and plug wires for a VERY fair price. Flashing check engine light means something very serious and Joe took care of us and put us at ease as I thought for sure it was a MAJOR problem. No fleecing, no bullshit. Just great repairs at a great price and reasonably fast. I was driving it home and a SOLID check engine light was on. I go home to google what it could be as I knew it wasn't as bad as a FLASHING check engine light. Joe calls 10 mins later. He forgot to clear the light.
